Proposal Description: The proposal is for the construction of a new two storey detached dwelling at High Land, Lanham Lane.

The application was introduced. The committee was advised that this application was previously approved by the committee on 20 January 2026, subject to a legal agreement which was subsequently signed on 1 May 2026. However, in the intervening period (March 2026), a new local plan was adopted. As a result, the policies listed on the original conditions no longer applied and had been superseded by the newly adopted local plan. The application was therefore brought back to the committee as an addendum to amend conditions 14 and 15 and to delete condition 7.

The committee proceeded to ask questions and debate the application.

RESOLVED:

That the committee agreed to permit the application with the changes to the conditions as set out in the report.
