Review of Assessment of Complaints Relating to a City Councillor (Report SSC049) Minutes: (Report SSC049 refers)
The Review Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of the review of assessment of complaints relating to a City Councillor should be taken in exempt session, by virtue of Paragraph 1 and 2 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, as the complaint referred to personal information (detail in Exempt Minute and attached Decision Notice).

Exempt Business To consider whether in all the circumstances of the case the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.
(i) To pass a resolution that the public be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the following items of business because it is likely that, if members of the public were present, there would be disclosure to them of 'exempt information' as defined by Section 100 (I) and Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.

1. That in all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.
2. That the public be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the following items of business because it is likely that, if members of the public were present, there would be disclosure to them of ‘exempt information’ as defined by Section 100I and Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.
