1To elect from amongst Members of the Council a person to be Mayor of the City of Winchester for the ensuing year

2To move a vote of thanks to the Retiring Mayor 
3To elect from amongst the Members of the Council a person to be Deputy Mayor of the City of Winchester for the ensuing year. 
4To elect the Leader (Chairman of the Cabinet) for the ensuing year 
5To elect the Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet for the ensuing year 
6To elect the Vice-Chairman of each of the following bodies (or other bodies as Council may determine) for the ensuing year:-
(a) Licensing and Regulation Committee(b) Planning Development Control Committee(c) Personal Committee(d) Principal Scrutiny Committee(e) Environment Scrutiny Panel(f) Social Issues Scrutiny Panel(g) Local Economy Scrutiny Panel(h) Resources Scrutiny Panel(i) Winchester District Local Plan Committee(j) Statement of Accounts Committee(k) Any Task & Finish or other Committee/Panel to be establsihed		 
7To determine the number of seats to be allocated to each roup on and to elect the remainign Members of the following bodies (or other bodies as Council may determine) for the ensuing year:-
(a) Cabinet(b) Licensing and Regulation Committee(c) Planning Development Control Committee(d) Personal Committee(e) Principal Scrutiny Committee(f) Environment Scrutiny Panel(g) Social Issues Scrutiny Panel(h) Local Economy Scrutiny Panel(i) Resources Scrutiny Panel(j) Winchester District Local Plan Committee(k) Statement of Accounts Committee(l) Any Task & Finish or other Committee/Panel to be establsihed		 
8To pass the following resolution in respect of the Standards Committee:
That the Standards Committee be established for 2006/07 with six City Councillors to join the four Independent Members and three Parish Representatives already appointed.To appoint the six Members of the Standards Committee.		 
9To pass the followign resolution in respect of the Appeals and Disputes Committee:
That the Winchester Town Forum be established for 2006/07 with membership comprising all Members who represent the six Winchester own Wards.		 
10To pass the following resolution in respect of the Appeals and Disputes Committee:
That alternative arrangements other than proportional representation apply for meetings of the Committee for 2006/07.To elect the Chairman and appoint the remaining eight members of the Appeals and Disputes Committee.		 
11To pass the folowing resolution in respect of the Housing (Appeals) Committee:
That alternative arrangements other than proportional representation apply for membership of the Committee for 2006/07To elect the Chairman and appoint the remaining three Members (and Deputies) of the Housing Appeals) Committee.
